Full-time RPSGT / Sleep Tech needed at Saltzer Medical Group Sleep labs. Nightshifts with some weekends. This position is responsible for performing physiological studies of sleep and sleep related disorders.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Explains procedures to patients, places and attached electrodes, operates equipment, and monitors signals during tests.
  • Administers questionnaires, completes technician reports, photographs patients, and records observations.
  • Maintains records and statistics that will aid with company planning.
  • Maintains all records and logs accurately as required by AASM (Academy of Sleep Medicine).
  • Works alone for extended periods of time and establishes and adheres to all schedule to facilitate timely completion of studies.
  • QUALIFICATIONS: (minimum qualifications required for the job)

    Experience: Previous sleep lab experience preferred. RPSGT's or experienced techs encouraged to apply. The following are also preferred: previous experience in EEG, pediatric sleep and a working knowledge of human anatomy. Spanish speaking skills helpful. Willing to conduct ASTEP training in order to meet the Idaho State Law standards

    Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Current CPR certification
