Accelerate your nursingcareer by joining our Specialty Training Apprenticeship for Registered Nurses(StaRN) program. Our Nurse Graduate Program is designed to help youprepare to succeed in an acute care hospital setting. The program is comprisedof a combination of didactic training, high definition simulation and clinicalpreceptorship.

As an RN in our StaRNprogram, you receive the education and support necessary to develop thejudgment, skill and knowledge you'll need to become the highest caliber nurse. You will have the opportunity to be mentored by the best, most highlyeducated and trained nurses within our facilities.

During the StaRNprogram, you will work with instructors to complete class assignments, skillstraining and exercises. Then, you will work with your preceptor during thepreceptorship that follows. At successful program completion, you will be avalued team member with specialty training, established relationships andfamiliarity with our values and culture. Program Schedule:

First 5 weeks

* Monday-Friday, typically 8:00AM - 5:00 PM with intermittent home study days. Must be able to attend all days.

Preceptorship - 5 weeks

* 3 - 12 hours shifts,rotating shifts on Surgical Orthopedics Unit at EIRMC

This position requires atwo year, full time commitment. Thefirst year is a commitment to the Surgical Orthopedics Unit at EIRMC. The second year is eligible to transfer toanother unit at EIRMC, or any of our other 185 HCA hospitals aroundthe country.

Required Job Qualifications include:

* Current Licensure as an RN in Idaho within four weeks of starting the program
* Applicants may apply for the program prior to passing the NCLEX exam
